DS Group (formerly ”De Smet Group”) was originally established in 1946 with the principal aims of commercializing processing equipments and building plants for the edible oil industry.

Since, the company has developed into a recognized agro-industrial group with extensive expertise worldwide.

A program of diversification was started in the 1970's when, in addition to the traditional activities, others such as real estate, … were started, although agro-industry remains the focus.
